Author and co-author of over 280 scientific publications. Special interest – neuropathic pain; experimental studies of pain mechanisms and treatment, interventional methods.
He is also an Editor and co-author of the Polish textbooks on pain and national recommendations on acute chronic pain treatment.
Prof. Jan Dobrogowski is a president of the Polish Association for the Study of Pain (Polish Chapter of IASP) since 2004.
He is also a member of national advisory boards and foundation on pain and is involved in the organization of several national and international symposia and congresses on pain.
He is an initiator and lecturer since 2007 of the postgraduate 2 semester studies – PAIN MEDICINE designed for: specialists in anesthesiology and other relevant specialities interested in pain treatment. To this day 620 physicians have graduated from this studies.
